08 Nov Volunteer Spotlight – The Waters Family
Our volunteers for the month of November are David and Kathleen Waters!
David and Kathleen Waters have been married for six and a half years, yet have known each other for close to twenty-three. David is now the site commander at Champion Reserve and a retired deputy sheriff of Jefferson County. The lovely Kathleen is a stay-at-home wife and retired chef who also worked in the medical and finance field. Both are cancer survivors which is why the Ronald McDonald House has such a special place in their hearts. “During our treatments, we did not have this kind of support, so we are trying our best to make sure the support system is there for others,” says Kathleen. And support they give! The Waters Family is an inspiration to all, and we are incredibly lucky to have them on our team.
