16 Apr Volunteer Spotlight – Susan Dawkins
Since volunteers/visitors were not allowed in the house during the quarantine I felt really bad not being able to help out at the House. While participating at a virtual Pamper Chef online party hosted by a friend I chose to schedule a fundraising PC party to benefit RMH-A. I had never met the PC consultant, Angie Ivey. She called me to discuss party details & was super excited to have this fundraising party for RMH-A because she was a former RMH family member at the RMH-Seattle. With her help & my wonderful friends, we were able to raise over $800. For those who did not want to purchase a PC product, we sold blessing bags for $20. The blessing bag contained a microwave PC bowl & food for a couple of meals. We sold 16 blessing bags. This party was so easy, fun & successful I plan to do this yearly.
