RMHC Augusta has been a "home away from home" for families seeking medical treatment for their sick or injured child for over 32 years. We have helped over 19,000 families, since we opened our doors in 1984.
In 2016, we served 1,203 families.
It's easy to give to RMHC Augusta! You can donate online, drop your spare change in a donation box at McDonald's, donate goods or services, or volunteer your time.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta welcomes a variety of groups to help maintain the House and help make it feel like a home for our families. Groups can help in many different ways including coming to the House on a scheduled date to help clean, holding a wish list drive, help at events, host a craft or family activity, and more.
Ronald McDonald House Charities is the national philanthropy for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. They are one of the many groups that help support the Ronald McDonald House in Augusta, GA.
My group is ready to volunteer! ? How do I sign up to get my group involved?
1.Review our Service Group Volunteer options and ideas to figure out what group project you are interested in. We always welcome new group activities and projects.
2.Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Kristin Gordon at email@example.com or 706-724-5901 to schedule and put together a Service Group Plan Form. You cannot be put on the schedule with out completing the service group plan form first.
*If you are interested in preparing a meal for our families, visit our Provide a Meal page. Ronald McDonald House is a NON-DENOMINATIONAL organization. We have families with us from around the globe representing many different nationalities, cultures and beliefs. We cannot appear to favor any specific one. Passing out any type of religiously-themed literature or engaging in any type of religious solicitation is prohibited.
*We cannot estimate how many children will be here on the date of your activity or their ages. We have families checking in and out every day and that makes it very hard for us to determine who will be here on the date of your event.
*Because many of the children in the house are unable to fight off infection, we are concerned about health standards. Please ensure that no one in your group has been exposed to chicken pox in the last 21 days or had any communicable illnesses such as mumps, strep throat, measles, or other infections. Please do not participate if you have experienced vomiting of diarrhea in the past 7 days.
*Volunteers must be 16 or older of have adult supervision at all times. 1 adult per 6 volunteers.
